The people have spoken in one voice and they have been
heard!
Hearty congratulations to the President-elect of the Federal
Republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari and all radical and
change-enthusiastic Nigerians; all dogged APC supporters and relentless GMB
believers especially. For standing firm, consistent and unpertubed in the face of the dangerous
campaign against ethnicity, tribalism and religion, and in the engagement of
vulgar, offensive and gutter language from most pro GEJ supporters especially
on social media. It was a classical display of maturity, courage and wisdom.
Such resilient spirit should be applauded.
This is an extraordinary show of how mighty the strength of
the masses is! And the power of social media. Not even the power of incumbency
could favour Goodluck Ebele Jonathan this time around. I'm ecstatic to be a
witness to such revolutionary change in this nation. The odds were all against
him and not even his office could bail him out.
Now that the change we've all been clamouring for, is almost
in motion, we hope crucial issues of nationwide importance are immediately
addressed. A 2-Point Agenda should suffice:
1. To put an end to
the Boko Haram insurgency consuming the Northern part of Nigeria. Securing the
masses' lives and properties should be paramount to any well-meaning
government. Opportunities abound in the North have been discarded for lack of
safety of human lives.
2. Generation, stabilization, accessibility and cheap
purchase of POWER. This will not only expand existing business ventures leading
to employment thus empowering the youths further, it will also lead to the
establishment of more industries which equals more job opportunities to meet
the demands of the teeming populace of unemployed.
Conformity doesn't equal loyalty. It is best to have the
general public's interest at heart before embarking on any project. And as for
the obese, power-greedy moneybags who will now make friendship efforts to
desperately change ship since GEJ's ship capsized, be wary of psychopaths, people
without moral conscience, always wanting to be on the winning team.
As our hopes are high, we hope the GMB administration will
be able to transform our expectations into realities. We have set a new
standard, we hope GMB doesn't perform below par.
Oh, please set up a committee to probe the Fuel Subsidy
mystery and all other high ranking officers accused of money laundering and
abuse of office, and of course, bring culprits to justice. The revolution has
just begun!
